Context in which the Program was born:
The number of businesses owned by women in the U.S. continues to grow, and now it is estimated that there are more than 9.4 million women-owned businesses — 30% of all businesses in the U.S.
There are more than 3 million women entrepreneurs in the U.S. and this number continues to grow. Latina women are starting businesses at a faster rate than any other group in the country — women entrepreneurs who drive the American economy forward.

- Organization of seminars, conferences, and business workshops throughout the year
Food Service Entrepreneurship Program
Program was born out of a belief that a community of talented natural entrepreneurs, given the right resources, can create self-sufficient businesses that benefit themselves, their families, their community, and even entire cities.

Food Service Entrepreneurship Program
- Since 2018, in alliance with a certified instructor, we have been giving certifications in Food Handling, which is valid throughout the United States for 3 years. We have also helped six entrepreneurs to assemble their Food Trucks and more than a hundred to set up their catering businesses. We see the need to develop a program that contains more tools for people who want to develop in the food industry
- Such a program also creates job opportunities, since participants have more options to get a job with better pay after they acquire these skills.
- ServSafe: Classes in food safety followed by an examination to obtain the ServSafe Food Manager Certification. The ServSafe Food Manager certification is certified by the National Restaurant Association.
- Allertrain: Food allergy and gluten-free certificate program covering all the essential information about how to safely serve diners with special dietary needs, such as food allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, and Celiac disease. Upon successful completion, students obtain a certificate that is accredited by ANSI and that is valid for 5 years.

ServSafe Food Manager Certification
We organized support campaigns during the 2020 holiday season in which we delivered 700 food baskets to families in need in Prince George’s County, MD.
